3 Axis CNC Miter, Mortise - Tenon machining Center
The MMTJ was the IWF "Challengers Award" winner in 2004. It is a single sided machine for doing miter, mortise, and tenon work. The table top includes fences set at 45 degrees to allow machining of two (2) parts at a time. All referencing is done from one edge to maintain an accurate joint. The CNC controls th X, Y, and Z axes, as well as the size of the mortise and tenon. All programs are easily stored and recalled as needed. Changing from program to program is accomplished in a matter os seconds. This machine is ideal for "Batch Size One" and large production runs. MADE IN AMERICA.

CNC Miter, Mortise and Tenon machine
The MMTX is a four (4) zone machine designed primarily for mitered cabinet doors. It features two (2) independent tool carriages, one to do the mortise and the other for the tenon. Programs are written and easily recalled throught the touch screen control. Going from one program to the next is easily accomplished in seconds. Three (3) CNC controlled axes are used on each tool plate to cut the miter, mortise and tenon. It has six (6) total CNC controlled axes. MADE IN AMERICA.

Miter Machine
The model 313GT features an automatic cycle with dowel drilling for accurate alignment of mitered corners. It produces ajoint that is 40% stronger than a conventional mortise and tenon miter joint. Highly visible guards, hands free foot valve to actuate clamping, and dual hand actuated start buttons make this machine safe and easy to operate. The machine is capable of producing up to one (1) mitered door frame per minute - 15 seconds per cycle. Machine features a one piece precision ground frame. Maximum material width is 5", maximum standard thickness is 1".

CNC mortise and tenon miter machines
The 3450 series CNC controlled mortise and tenon miter door machine are available in two (2) standard models. One is a 4 zone machine designed for small to medium size shops. The othr is an 8 zone machine designed for medium to large sized shops. Both models are designed to accept pre-molded material, cut a 45 degree miter and then mortise and tenon the part to produce a hidden joint mitered door. Unique's "UMTPro" software stores and recalls programs that can be customized for different moulding shapes and sizes. The 3450 series construction is similar in design to that of Unique's time proven shape and sand machines. They use a single one piece weldment frame that is precision machined in one set-up. Using high precision ball screws to drive each axis, provides for exact tolerances and a perfect fit each and every time. These ball screws eliminate backlash and inaccuracy problems associated with other types of drives. SPECIFICATIONS: router motors are HSD 6kW (8 HP) variable speed; feed and cut rate is 4" per second with rapid positioning speed of 30" per second; maximum material thickness is 2-1/2"; maximum material width is 5" when machining 4 pieces simultaneously, 6" when machining 2 pieces simultaneously; minimum material width is 3/4".

Details: CNC CONTROL is a system that utilizes all Yaskawa components including: controller, servo motors, AC inverter variable speed drives. Utilizing a single supplier for the entire control system provides for the utmost in reliablity and performance. All of this is coupled with Unique's "UMTPro" software. The software controls feed rates, cutting speeds, spindle speeds, tenon size, and mortise size. All of this adta can be saved and accessed for specific moulding profiles and wood species. Training is provided at no cost at the Unique factory. Customer responsible for travel and living expenses.
