ENERGY SAVING DUST COLLECTION SYSTEMS
The "SMARTFLOW" System is an on-demand energy saving dust/mist/fume collecting system for home shops, commercial and industrial ventilation. Variations of the system are available for one-machine shops to large industrial systems and everything in between. The system includes motorized gates, sensors and a control system. Upgrade your existing system with the "Smartflow" on-demand system and you'll save month after month, year after year. ••
Conventionally designed industrial ventilation systems utilize a large central fan and a system of ducts connecting each machine / workstation to the fan. Typically the system enables ventilation from all installed machines / workstations at the same time and is on for the duration of the work shift. As systems are generally designed for all machines / workstations to be working continuously, they tend to consume excessive quantities of energy. ••
Data from real manufacturing facilities show that typically, less than 50% of production machinery is working at any given time. It is easy to achieve a 30% reduction of system air-flow by automatically closing gates on non-operating machinery, resulting in fan motor electricity savings of up to 65%, while still maintaining acceptable level system air velocities. If heating or air-conditioning is used in the plant, additional savings are achieved because less air is vented outside the plant, and less energy is required to heat / cool and dehumidify / humidify make-up air.

GreenBOX® one - ONE MACHINE SYSTEM
Opens blast gate automatically when machine is turned on, closes blast gate when machine is turned off. Allows for use of a smaller dust collector, increases efficiency (suction) at machines in use.By installing "SMARTFLOW" gates on workstations (machines) that are used only part time, you can increase system capacity and save on energy expense. Input voltage 115/230/1/60. Can be controlled from: (A) external 24V low voltage switch or relay, (B) 115-230V from machine on/off switch, (C) toroidal / magnetic reading current to the machine. If you're upgrading an EXISTING undersized dust collection system the GreenBOX® 12 will greatly improve your system's performance without the expense of enlarging or replacing your collector. •• If you are putting in a NEW COLLECTOR system it can be designed as much as 40% smaller than the standard design, or you can use a conventional size and have a 40% buffer for later expansion. ••

The GreenBOX® MASTER SLR is "SMARTFLOW'S" most advanced and sophisticated control. Based on an industrial PC with color touchscreen, remote access via internet, advanced monitoring of each gate, and digital communication with the PowerMASTER VFD. Their DataMining software allows system monitoring and evaluation of energy savings through an optionally supplied Windows PC.
