DUAL ANGLE CUTTERHEADS
Titan heads for mid-sized moulders like Weinig Unimat 500,1000 and Unimat GOLD, Wadkin, Kentwood, Iida, Leadermac, etc. Heads have a 137mm (5.4") body diameter, 1-13/16" straight bores.
The 137mm (5.4") diameter series of moulder heads is offered with 4-knife pockets, (2) 12deg. cutting angle for hardwood AND (2) 20 deg. for softwoods. These are offered in standard cutting lengths up to 230mm (9") long. Heads feature deeper knife pockets to allow wider steel to be used for additional resharpenings. Custom heads can also be made to your exact specifications. We also can provide filler wedges for knife pockets not being used. MAXIMUM SPEED 7,200 RPM
