Accurate Technologies Model No.: ProStand HD
ProStand HD is a 2 axis cutterhead measurement and inspection stand that allows
an operator to digitally measure cutterhead radius, axial position, length of arcs and more. It makes non-contact, digital measurements using a color, CCD camera coupled to a magnification lens (20X), a high resolution 17" LCD color monitor, and a ProScale digital measuring system. This provides high image quality of the magnified knife edge for easy, reliable measurments as well as knife and grind inspections for defects and loss of knife temper. With the ProStand digital readout, you can measure in absolute mode, switch to incremental mode for relative measurements, and return to absolute mode with no loss of measurement or accuracy. It offers a choice of measurements: millimeters, centimeters, or decimal inch. It allows you to select three (3) points along an arc and the display calculates the arc radius, arc length, and center point coordinates. Includes "ProTool software for cutting tool measurement, cataloging, and reporting. Standard equipment includes a "sliding platform" to allow for safe loading/unloading of cutterheads up to 400 Lbs. in weight. The RS-232 output is built-in. The ProStand HD offers much more than is available from "back lit" optical comparators. Optical comparators offer only a shadow image of the knife profile, NOT a fully lit view of the knife edge and face as is available from the ProStand HD.
